The Highlands was developed in the late 1990’s and is a community of mostly custom-built single family homes that offers spectacular views of Ten Mile Range all the way to the ski slopes of Breckenridge. It is situated between the town of Breckenridge and the Jack-Nicklaus designed 27-hole municipal golf course which becomes the Gold Run Nordic Center in the winter, featuring 27 km of groomed classic and skate cross-country ski trails, as well as an ice skating pond, sleigh rides, and a Clubhouse restaurant.
